After completing a successful internship with DCLRS in the spring of 2021, Frida Mendez joined DCLRS as a legislative and regulatory assistant. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Sociology and minor in Political Science. Frida previously worked for Cal State Fullerton in the College of Education and did an internship with the Census Bureau. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. As the daughter of farm workers, she is passionate about agriculture, the environment and immigration reform.
